The Grammy Awards will celebrate their 67th edition this Sunday, February 2, with the best exponents of music from the United States and other countries around the world from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. In this article we will tell you the details about the musical ceremony and the schedules of the Red Carpet and the general awards.

At the top of a predominantly female list, Beyoncé, with 11 nominations, will seek not only to expand her dynasty in these awards, but also to win a trophy that still resists in her spectacular list of winners: the best album, with ‘Cowboy Carter’.

The bets are in favor of the American singer, who has competed up to five times for this award, which makes her the black artist with the most nominations, surpassing Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar.

But winning this coveted award will not be easy, as among the nominees in this category she faces her strongest rival: Taylor Swift, the artist who has been nominated the most times, beating Barbra Streisand this year.

The American star already won it last year with ‘Midnights’ so, if she revalidates her title in this edition, she will be the first five-time winner in this category and the third artist in the history of the Grammys to win it consecutively in this section, after Frank Sinatra (1966-67) and Stevie Wonder (1974-75).

This edition also marks the return of the Californian Billie Eilish to the most prestigious music awards to compete with her third studio album, ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’.

Her hit ‘Births of a Feather’, on the other hand, leads the odds to take home the Grammy for best song of the year, as well as best recording.

Although in this section we find the classic ‘Now And Then’, by the British band The Beatles, which could be a surprise in the face of nostalgia for ‘Beatlemania’.

Prior to the Grammy gala, the Recording Academy will announce the winners in the Latin categories, with artists such as Colombian Feid or Puerto Rican Young Miko raising the heat of their first nomination.

Both are competing for the urban music album alongside three overwhelming stars who are experts in the genre: Puerto Ricans Bad Bunny and Residente, as well as Colombian J Balvin.

Other established stars such as Colombian Shakira, Puerto Rican Luis Fonsi or Brazilian Anitta are competing for the Grammy for best pop album, a trio completed by Kany García and Kali Uchis.

Meanwhile, ‘Pepito y Paquito’, the album that brings together unreleased recordings by guitarist Paco de Lucía and his brother Pepe when they were just children, is among the nominees for the Grammy for best historical album.
